Backupify Your Files!

Backupify is an all-in-one archiving of your web-based data from the most popular online services like Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, Basecamp, WordPress, Del.icio.us, Photobucket, Blogger, FriendFeed, etc. It also makes your data searchable online and restores your maligned files with one quick-click solution.

But is it really necessary to store online data?

Backupify’s main claim is to protect your data from malicious deletions, unpredictable hackers and user errors. It even stated that 1/3 of data loss is because of human errors.

And 6 out of every 10 lost items are from user errors!

Well, we cannot deny the fact that these things are really happening, corruption of data and the evil abuse of online contents such as e-mail spams, viruses and hackings. It can really alter our precious cloud data and affect our daily regime in many ways especially those people engaged in online businesses. You can only imagine the disaster!

So how is it working?

You can start to have a feel for the Backupify’s worth by registering a free personal account (MyCloud Personal) which includes 3 web-based services, 1 GB free storage, weekly update of backups which is automatically servicing and web-only support. You can upgrade your account if you want your web, e-mail & phone also archived and nightly updated.

They also have what they suggest as backup accounts for business and sales alike. See the Google Apps which is not free but on a free trial basis and Salesforce, a coming soon account but you can send your e-mail to auto update you when it’s coming. Check it out on their website for more information.

Backupify Security

Users of Backupify can download their critical online data to a local computer or server.  Your cloud data are archived encryptically to a second copy, so when you lose it you can just click that one button and voila your latest data before the corruption will resurface again in the cloud!

Recommendation

If you are meticulously involved in your cloud data and have a greater purpose of tracking every single updates like when you’re in a business online  with tons of e-mail addresses and profiles to keep. It is much secure to have this kind of service. I believe it will give you less headache too by having others help you do the maintenance you yourself or your staff handles. Hmm, sounds fair isn’t it!
